Here began her fascination with natural materials and themes, sketching the horses she rode and the trees she climbed. Here too began her interest in myth and magic, seeking to understand things not immediately visible.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Rose&#8217;s pursuits took her to Concordia University in Montreal, where she studied psychology, education, and fine-arts technique, completing graduate studies in art therapy. Versatile in a wide range of media from sculpting, photography, and printmaking to writing and performance, her voice most often finds expression through pencil and paint. Not an easy diagnosis to handle at any age, let alone at 88. Yet, Don carried-on the best he could with what little time he knew he had left. But, unfortunately, his body gave out on New Years Eve and he passed at 1:16 P.M. at Redland&#8217;s Community Hospital. We&#8217;re all saddened by his passing, but also very grateful that we had as much time as we did to spend with him these past few months. We&#8217;re also extremely grateful for the many extraordinary friendships he has had throughout his life and especially for the emotional support you&#8217;d given him during this difficult time.
