She won first prize awards for two poems from an Evergreen Women\u2019s Press nationwide poetry contest. Her poetry received honorable mentions from the judges of a Los Angeles Poetry Festival and The Academy of American Poets. Her poem <em>Du Fu<\/em> was nominated for a Rhysling award for Best Science Fiction Poem. She\u2019s led adult poetry and fiction writing critique groups and workshops in both Colorado and California.<\/p>\n<p>In 2018, her novel, <i>The Splendid and Extraordinary Life of Beautimus Potamus<\/i>, won a coveted Audible\u2019s Reviewer\u2019s Choice Award. Her publisher, Dragon Moon Press, released Peggy\u2019s fifth novel in Summer 2019. <i>The Raven\u2019s Daughter<\/i> was Peggy\u2019s debut novel.
