This idea of foretelling future events has been with us for centuries, Caesar made decisions based on what the Oracle prophesied (or the entrails). Politics and future spouses&#8230; it seems that divination plays an important role in history be it Astragalomancy, &#8220;rolling the bones&#8221; (which were originally the knuckle bones of animals), discussing business deals or dissecting the politics of empire with an astrologer as seen in the smoke of a sacrifice.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This journal accepts papers from many disciplines and is welcoming of all faiths and philosophies. We publish 3-5 papers per issue that have been peer-reviewed according to academic standards. Final submissions should be 3,000 to 10,000 words. Artists and scholars are welcomed in the pages of <em>Coreopsis Journal. <\/em><strong>Please note: <\/strong>Essays from artists do not have to be prepared for review.
