Most works are sent back for several rounds of revisions, so make sure to send us your initial query as early as possible.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Copyright and reprinting rights remain with the author after publication by default. Read the submissions guidelines carefully for the category you submit to. <b>Submissions that do not adhere to the following guidelines will be rejected. <\/b> <b>We do not accept the following:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reprints<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Previously published material (artwork published on an artist\u2019s personal blog does not necessarily count)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Unsolicited poetry or works of fiction<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">NO GEN AI!<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>How to Submit Your Work <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Send us a query using the form provided on the submission page for your category. If your work aligns with the theme of an upcoming issue, we\u2019ll contact for the full submission using the email address you provided.<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once we\u2019ve contacted you requesting your full submission, you will be asked to submit your finished work according to the guidelines for the category it was submitted in. We may request revisions, so make sure to send it well in advance of issue deadlines.<\/span> <b>Social Media Usage Notice <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Any work you submit that is accepted for publication may be used by our social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, etc.) to promote your work as well as our publications and the Society for Ritual Arts.
