The Lost Chord Award is given annually by the Society for Ritual Arts to a musician or musical group for work that embodies the mission of the Society – to inspire a spiritual sense of wonder, awe or connectedness.

2017/2018 Awardees

And … the Recipients 2017/2018 Lost Chord Award are …

MARGARET DAVIS and KRISTOPH KLOVER, for their many years of creating and supporting mythopoetic music, folk music, early music, Pagan music, harpers of the Bay Area, and the Celtic Rock communities, through community engagement, recording, and the establishment of Flowinglass Music.

Ms. Davis and Mr. Klover, please accept our hearty congratulations. You inspire us with awe and wonder.

In addition, this year brought us a highly talented roster of nominees, all of whom deserve recognition — and more — for their outstanding support of the mythic arts. I have no doubt that in the future the music world will honor their creativity and dedication.
