Gentle Knife
Clock Unwound | Gentle Knife
Gentle Knife is a Norwegian progressive rock ensemble featuring eleven members. With male and female vocalists, multiple guitarists, keys, synths, mellotron, woodwinds and more, our signature sound dips deeply into classic 70s prog, resurfacing with a modern take on the genre. The album is mixed and mastered by progressive rock heavyweights Markus Reuter and Benjamin Schäfer of Unsung Productions, in Berlin, Germany (Stick Men, Crimson ProjeKct et al.) and mastered by Lee Fletcher.
A prog collective consisting of 11 strong-willed personalities with collective credits and mutual veto rights is clearly a recipe for challenge. However, it’s also a remarkable multifaceted organism once projects are agreed upon and begin to solidify into unique pieces of original music. Best regards from Eivind, Gentle Knife.
