Her Beauty Is Large (Enough to Fill the Sky)
She
slips
darkness
into day,
sowing confusion
as she brazenly unravels
the tapestry of time’s known passage out and about,
where all else cannot help but bear
witness to her craft;
her presence
blots out
the
sun.
The
world
succumbs
to her might,
her right, her delight
in toying with night, bending all
the universe around pinky finger to cast on
to her wheel, realigning these
stars and fates to suit—
she will make
her own
dreams
real.
