Volunteer positions open as of September 2017

Music Editor and
SRA “Ritual Radio” Host

  • You have a page of your own to post music, interview musicians, and talk about the emergent ritual music genre.
  • Develop playlists, attend events
  • Work with  the Coreopsis Editors to compile the New Releases pages and profile musical artists.

Content Manager

  • In short: we give you content, you put it in WordPress
  • Make it look beautiful
  • If you’re up for it, define the overall aesthetic of each new digital issue by selecting a WordPress theme and tweaking it to your liking (and the liking of the Advisory Board)

Social Media Liaison

  • Manage our Social Media pages (Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, ello…so far)
  • Work with the BoD and membership to up our journal readership promote events.
  • Spearhead funding campaigns through social media and crowdfunding.
  • You have your own page on the SRA website to to promote the work of the Society’s members.

Fundraising Coordinator

Organize activities to raise funds or otherwise solicit and gather monetary donations or other gifts for the organization. May design and produce promotional materials. Raise awareness of the organization’s work, goals, and financial needs.

  • Organize and help with traditional fundraising activities such as sponsored or promotional events, raffles, and developing new fundraising ideas and events including an annual donations/pledge/membership campaign
  • Recruiting and facilitating the work of volunteers in concert with the Volunteer Coordinator
  • Approaching individuals, schools, universities, local authorities, shops and commercial organisations for sponsorship and donations.

Mercantile Liaison

  • Develop a “mercantile” shop that will provide an income stream to the Society.
  • Work with Gathering and Salon organizers to manage registration and any on site “merch” vending tables

Event Planner/Organizer

  • Collaborate remotely with the Advisory Board, using email, Skype and social media
  • Draft an event plan and budget for approval by the Advisory Board
  • Arrange and book all elements of the event, including venue, catering, decor, entertainment, etc.
  • Help promote events
